Country Code Import Question

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I'm trying to import the ISO codes for the countries around the world from a CSV.  I know what table they go to (VAT10001), but I can't figure out how to import it using Table Import, or Integration Manager as I can't find a destination for VAT10001.  Anyone?

So you select Administrator->Company->Company then Tools->Integrate->Table Import and select VAT Country Code.

I think I looked everywhere except the company setup window.

The name of the table is VAT Country Code MSTR, it is in the Company Series of the Dynamics.dic

I looked for a table import option in several different places.  Where is this one located?

Hi Squared. Shameless plug - if you need help with any European localisation issues - VAT / Intrastat / VIES / ESL etc., drop me a PM.

You should be able to table import into the VAT10001 table. Are you getting an error message or is it that you can't find the table?

    Best regards,

    Table Import would work too.

Ouch! I think the photo is fun! Much more character than a blue outline.

    Squared,

I have been watching your posts for the last few days and posting replies when I can.  I would like to suggest three things:  first, contact Integrated Business Group in Orlando, Florida and sign up for some classes in Dynamics GP.  Second, get a set of our books.  Finally, loose the Elvis look.  Mean while,  we will continue to reply best we can to your posts.

I applaud your efforts to learn, get the resources to help you learn.
