    Hi,

In Business central you can only have on Item Category per Item.

But you can create multiple level of Category and Subcategory.

Item cannot have two subcategories by default, but you can customize to have a different field and then select another category if needed.

    1) Yes, you can have nested sub-categories.  Simply selecting the sub-category as the Parent for the sub-sub-category.

    2) No, you cannot have two categories on an Item.  You may want to look into Item Variants (same Item, different color/size/material) or potentially Item Attributes.

    Hi
You can rely on the item categories for this topic. I hope it helps you.

    Hello LaserCopr,

You can use the 'Parent-Child' relationship in the item category.
The alternative is to create the categories as dimensions.
