Can PSTL for GP 2013 Modify Codes in Human Resources?

I would like to retire many of our old benefits in HR (Health, Life, Misc and Retirement Plans).  The PSTL allows for modifying the Deduction Code and Benefit Code in Payroll but I don't see where it will modify anything in HR.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

    Please refer to the links below;

    Thank you, Mahmoud.  Christina's article covers the Payroll side for the Benefit Code and Deduction Code.  However, she doesn't address the HR Side for Health Insurance, Retirement Plans, Life Insurance and Misc Benefits.  These are the screens I need the IDs changed for.  I sent her an email and will update my post when she responds.

    Thanks!

    I am not sure there are modifier tools for the health insurance, retirement plans ...etc. I have never come across such tools.

    Although, please keep us posted.

    Never hesitate to share any further inquiries,

    I think no option available for modify such as Health Insurance, Retirement Plans, Life Insurance and Misc Benefits in PSTL for HR.

    Hope this helps!!!

    You are correct.  There is no option available for PSTL to change HR codes.  This is disappointing.

    Update:  I added this to the suggestions on the Microsoft Connection site and Microsoft responded that they agree with my findings and suggestion.  Not sure if that means they'll be working on a solution but it's encouraging.  If you have access to the site and want to put in your vote for the enhancement you can access my post here:  https://connect.microsoft.com/dynamicssuggestions/feedbackdetail/view/929712/gp-pstl-should-be-expanded-to-include-the-hr-suite#tabs

    In the meantime, Christina Phillips, a regular HR contributor in the forums, and I worked through this together.  Under her suggestion I made sure that the Benefit in HR had both a Deduction and Benefit setup up in Payroll.  Under that scenario I was able to change the code for both the Deduction and Benefit using the modifier but this will not work for Miscellaneous Benefits such as Garnishments as you can't create a benefit out of that. This is a great starting point!

    Teri,  I have voted on the Microsoft Connect site for this new feature suggestion. Thanks for the link.

    Have a nice Day :)
