Getting a publish URL for a app that I developed

Hi -

I have developed a app for BC that is listed on appsource as "contact me".  However, I want to have a customer install it but I do not want to give them the app file.  How can I get a "publish url" so that the customer can change the URL link for part of the BC URL which then directs them to the "Extension Installation" page to automatically download the app in their BC cloud instance.

Thanks,

NAV2BC

    Hi NAV2BC02,

This is clearly documented by Microsoft here: learn.microsoft.com/.../appsource

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks

Does it work when you follow this documentation?

    learn.microsoft.com/.../readiness-checklist-e-industries-categories-apptype

    Hi,

Thank you for the detailed information.  I am getting the following login credential error when trying to complete authentication in Powershell when trying to log into my BC environment.

    Can you assist in troubleshooting?2022_2D00_12_2D00_26-17_5F00_23_5F00_20_2D00_Meet-_2D00_-nas_2D00_pjve_2D00_pmd.png

Hi, In addition, you can also use Admin Center API to help customers install AppSource Extension.

Hi, I mentioned it in detail in the postbelow, I hope it can help you.

    https://yzhums.com/2337/

To install AppSource Extension do following: In address bar, append following to the base business central URL
    ?aid= FIN&page=2503&filter=%27ID%27%20IS%20%27<App ID>%27&signInRedirected=1
Then replace part with the AppSource Extension’s App Id.

And, I also created a simple tool that installs AppSource extensions.

How to install AppSource extension/app via AL

    Thanks.
