Workflow Due Date Processing Batch Job error

Hello people,

I configured a pr review workflow and setup escalation for certain steps. As far as I know "Workflow Due Date Processing" job is triggering this escalation process. Please correct me If I am wrong. So, I setup also this batch job however it stucks in executing process. It has been working for 16 hours and status is still same. Is this normal or am I missing something?

I kindly ask your advices, thanks in advance.
