Hi,

When i tried to upload my .rdl file into crm reporting service online 2016, i am getting below error.

Error:Invalid Data Source.
This report type is not supported. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online supports only reports that use Fetch XML data sources.

Actually, i have designed a report using MS SQL Data tools for VS 2012 with Fetch-XML.

Please help me to resolve this issue asap.

I have also seen this error when the report contains more than 1 FetchXML datasource and neither of them are shared.

So what was the resolution to this issue? NOT using a shared data source? I am getting the exact error when attempting to upload a RDL file consisting of a simple test query of 3 columns on one entity. I've attempted both shared and not shared with regards to data source. I have all prereq's installed (SSDT + RAE)

are you able to try without shared data source? see this post acegcs.wordpress.com/.../, used bids 2008 but process is same in VS2012

Yeah, but in my SQL Data Tools reporting data source is not visible? So, i used shared data source
