"No. of Copies" on a Report

ReportReport
Posted on by 380

Hello,

Can anyone help me figure out how to implement the ability to print x copies of a report? I am making an item label report that I want operations to be able to enter in how many labels to print out. Future states as well will allow them to print the quantity on the warehouse receipt lines.

I do not have the ability to see base NAV code, and all forums I find say to look at report 206.

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

If you can't see the code, how are you able to create the report ?

Basically, you need to use table called integer to loop through the data and print it.

If you want to print it twice, you need to filter the integer table so the data will loop twice.

    Hi Teddy,

Our partner doesn’t allow us to see source code, so I literally create all my code from trial error and learning online. I was able to get the No. of Copies to work with looping and the integer table.

Now I’m struggling to figure out how to pass a value on a selected line in the warehouse receipt to the report on that page. I.e it’s a product label report.

As far as I know, you can't do that without coding.

I have to ability to write the code, I just can't figure out how to pass the value from the selected warehouse receipt line, put away line etc, to the report that I added to the page.

If you want to get the records that you selected on the page, use SetSelectionFilter method to get the records and then pass it to the report by calling the report function.

That’s what I’m struggling with doing. I can only figure out to pass values in the header
