Remove Lot Tracking when there are Item Ledger Entries

We have a few items that were setup as Lot Tracked accidentally, and we uploaded an opening balance and have performed a few item ledger transactions already. Is there no way to remove the lot tracking from the item card?

    Hi Gray155,

    Yes there is a simple way to do so,

    If you are on AX2012R3 you have an other way to do so. Just before an inventory closing.

    Adjust out all the quantity

    Perform an inventory closing

    Change the tracking Dimension

    Adjust the quantity in (Make sure the cut over is well done)

    Prerequisites : No open transaction should be there before the inventory closing.
