Hide/Show Global Search Close Appointment 'Canceled' button based on activity type and its owner

Hello Expert,

Please refer my PRIVIOUS posted question: Hide/Show Activity Home (View) Cancel button based on activity type and its owner, Mr. Dengliang Li provided an excellent solution. A new requirement as below:

Step1: In Global Search searching box, search a Appointment Activity, snip as below

Step2: Click the Mark Complete button, the Close Appointment window pop up;

In the State drop-down list, select /Canceled/

Now the requirement is: if the activity type is Appointment and Appointment Activity owner is Portal User, show the /Canceled/ button above, otherwise hide it.

Could you please provide a solution/any suggestion?

Hi,

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that's not possible.

This form is a special kind of dialog form.
Unlike the Opportunity Close form, it does not belong to any entity.

It is not possible to add web resources or register steps for plugins.
