Does anybody know if it is possible to setup a customer with a 15% discount, but the discount won't be applied to sale items?

Or a discount that does the same thing?

Thanks.

    Simon,

Pretty sure you cannot do this without an add-in.

Check with Ryan @ RITE  rsakry@rite.us as I think they have something.

You can set the customer to have a default discount %, then in your items editor,

the last tab has an option check-box labeled 'Item is not discountable at register' .

We set this flag on all of our sale items, they are already discounted by the sale,

no need to double up that discount

I am looking for this issue for year.  Did you get the answer for how to do it?  Please let me know, I am appreciate it.  I know the LFMarket in Arizona, they did have the file for this but I don't know who did the modification for them. Any one know this solution,  email me at lamhb@yahoo.com, I am appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Hai Lam
