Best app for Field Service Technicians

Hi,

We are currently setting up a Field Service solution for a client, and we are having a discussion on which app is the best for Field Service use? Please let us know your comments and experience, pro and cons are welcome.

    Hi Anders

    In the FS project I have worked on we have used the Field Service (Resco) app a it allows lots of changes and you can also run script on the app rather than server side

    I would suggest the RESCO app. Firstly as it is configurable but also I feel that the offline access is essential for people out in the field.

    You can either use F1 Sky App (Field Service Mobile) or RESCO's app

    You will have limitations of 10 entities I think you can use free of cost if you use RESCO and will need to pay if you want to use more than that for custom entities however you get more functionality with that as compared to F1 app.

    We have used F1 app/Field Service Mobile app for couple of clients and had no issue, and also used offline HTML to run JavaScript and use it for validation purpose etc.

    In one scenario engineers have Samsung devices (android) and using app and no complains.

    Hi Anders,

    I will suggest a third party app Liid for tracking calls, emails and meeting to Dynamics when on the field. Please look for more here.
