Microsoft CRM Mobile app not Running : 4/5 Downloading customization failed

Hello,

I am unable to run Microsoft CRM Mobile 2015  for iPhone app. I can login but it fails at 4/5 Downloading customization.

Error "We're Sorry. Something went wrong while initializing the app. Please try again, or restart the app"

I have reinstalled several times but no luck. It runs smoothly on my iPad (Same app, same CRM).

    I've got this error once. The problem was with huge amount of customizations it time-outed when my mobile was using only 3G internet. When I enabled WIFI which had significantly higher speed, it worked correctly.

    Not yet. I tried the same mobile app on iPad and windows 10 and it works without any issue.

    I am still researching a final fix for this issue.  I had the same issue with all users except myself (I am a sys admin).  I assigned one user a VP of Sales role which is not a legacy role like the rest of our roles.  After assigning this role, the user could get passed the 4/5 downloading screen error and get logged in.  If I remove the role, she could no longer log in.  All user roles have access to the CRM mobile app on the Security Roles > Business Management > Dynamics 365 for mobile (and phones).   I will review the difference in this user role and let you know what I find out.  If anyone else has any thoughts please share.

    I did.  I believe I had to create another security role that include access to mobile.  The legacy roles that had the access had this error but creating a new role and assigning the users to that role resolved the issue.  I can clarify with screen shots in a moment.
