PartyList datatype..

Hi,

This is the first time i am configuring CRM.

I want to add some fields to Case entity in CRM 2011.

Fields - TO and CC (similar to what we have in an email.)

After visiting the page Settings > Solutions > My Solution > Entities > Case > Fields > New it gives me a pop up to create a new field. In the Type of field i have different values but "PartyList" is not present.

Is it possible to add the PartyList data type to a new field?

If not, which is the best way to add the fields?

Regards,

Ajit

    Hello Ajit,

Unfortunately it is not possible to add the PartyList data type to a field.  As it sounds like you would like to store Email Addresses in this field, I would recommend setting the field type to a value of "Single Line of Text".  This is the same field type value that CRM uses by default for all of its Email Address Fields.

I hope this helps answer your question.

    Best Regards,
