Hi Usman, Deactivating a Queue with items will not affect the items, they will remain available in CRM against the owning user, only the Queue will no longer be accesible.

I hope this answers you question, Kindly verify :)

    Best Wishes, Raz

Thanks for your reply, as I can see queue items can be tracked by owner after de-activating queue. But it does still show de-activated queue in queue item details. Should it show blank instead of de-activated queue?

The deactivated Queue should no longer be visible from Users Queue List, but you should still be able to administer the queue in the Queue management via settings.

    Hi

No, If you deactivate the queue, queue will disappear from for active queues list, if the user try to assign any items to deactivated queue, they will get error. Below are the statuses.

    queue status - deactive

    queue item status - deactive

actual object status - active, if you don't change the object status. for example if you add a case to a queue and deactivated the queue. queue and queue item status became deactive and case status stays active, if it still opens and queue item details shows still deactivated queue name unless if you assign to another queue.
