I am starting to learn to use Dynamics CRM 2016 on-premises and have a fairly basic (I hope) question about email configuration.
I am creating a new workflow, and as part of that I have to define the "From" user. Now I have a couple of real users in the system but I actually want the email to come from the system itself (ie a generic email address such as no-reply@example.com).
Is this possible?
I am also assuming that, related to this, I was expecting to receive email alerts when selecting "Select the alerts to send to Microsoft Dynamics CRM users." - although nothing comes through - is this due to the fact that there is no top-level email configuration that handles those types of alerts?
