I am sorry, i did not realized that only you have posted the above information. I wanted to inform you that i have done some offline research on this error message in my internal databases for similar cases but did not find much information on this error message, for a quick test can you create a new website and see if you can access that locally? if not, please open a support case with MS IIS team and we will help. But before that i would request you to please wait for any other suggestion on this error message , better to update this thread in MSDN if not already done so that the IIS Experts can also see this and may be someone who has worked on similar issue can share some pointers here.

if you have two threads open on on the similar issue in Dynamics Community, i request you to please close any one of them as duplicate.

    Thanks,

    Mohammad

    Hi,

    "HTTP ERROR 404.15"

THE REQUEST FILTERING MODULE IS NOT CONFIGURED TO DENY A REQUEST WHERE THE QUERY STRING IS TOO LONG.'

The error specified here has half information. Can post the entire exception that your are getting here.

Also here are the few things to be checked,

    1) Check for all the CRM service, restarted the CRM 2011 services.

There are four services and they all start with Microsoft Dynamics, start them up.

2)Also restart the CRM website service.

3)Check the password for the account which are being used to run CRM services and CRM App Pool to see if anyone of is expired or has been changed recently. Please try resetting them.

Let me know, if this was helpful !

    Thanks !

    Kuldeep

    Hi,

Below is the cause and the resolution that I think can help you out:

    CAUSE

This problem occurs because the query string length of the requested URL is longer than the length that is specified in the maxQueryString property in the ApplicationHost.config file.

Note The maxQueryString property is under the requestLimits node, which is under the requestFiltering node.

    RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

    1.  Click Start , type Notepad in the Start Search box, right-click Notepad , and then click Run as administrator .

Note If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue .

    2.  On the File menu, click Open , type %windir%\System32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config in the File name box, and then click Open .

    3.  In the ApplicationHost.config file, locate the requestLimits tag.

    4.  Remove the maxQueryString property. Or, change the value to a value that matches the length of the query string that you are using. By default, the value of the maxQueryString property is 2048.

For example, modify the following code. <requestLimits maxQueryString="length" />

    5.  Save the ApplicationHost.config file.

    Kind Regards

    Aaina

    Hello! any solution to this?

I have seen I'm requesting this url: internalcrm.jorge.com/.../ls -> Please, see destination

    when I go to https://internalcrm.jorge.com.

That's why I'm getting 404.15 error and some of the solutions here, won't work in this case.

I did also what Kuldeep explain, but no lucky. Any workaround? I have one server for CRM and other for ADFS in same domain.
