Sub-Grid - Displaying all records of an entity based on the Parent Account

Good afternoon

I have an entity called "Account Products which has a lookup to a Account and then allows various bits of customer information to be added.  I have a workflow setup to auto populate the Parent Account Name on to the form and also the Account Number (our account numbers get pushed from NAV > CRM)

Here is an example of the account products entity Showing the Parent Account Name, H Number (the Parent Account Number) and the Account Name.

Within the Account Entity I display a grid of the account product entity, if I got into a single account eg the Bayswater account this shows the products correctly.

However if I got into the parent account I can't seem to configure it to show all account products for the selected parent account it is either showing nothing if I select "only related records" and if I show "all record types" I get every product showing for all accounts.  Is there any way to configure this to show all products for all account for the parent account?

Thanks

Robin

It looks like you have selected the wrong relationship to show in your subgrid - you need to show the parent account relationship rather than the one you are showing now.

    Hope this helps

Thanks!!! I had not got that relationship and I had added that this afternoon but didnt realise it would effect the sub-grid as it does it now works Hoorah.

    thanks Scott

How did you add that relationship?  I have a lookup to account record but this still limits the sub-grid to only show exact matches and not the parent account items as well.
