Jet report not picking up latest journals

Hi,

I am new to BC and Jet reports.

We posted a journal and soon after ran the jet report. The journal impact is not coming in report. However, when we run the report next day it is showing the impact. Does it mean that there is a lag in jet report picking up latest data? Is there a way to fix this please.

Jet report queries BC database in real-time unless you use Jet hub and run your report on a schedule.

The reason why you get the G/L balance updated the day after might be because of setup in BC.

What kind of journal do you post?

If it's an item journal and you have disabled automatic cost posting, you likely run the Post inventory cost to GL via a job queue that runs overnight. This might explain the delay.
