Quick Create required fields

Hello guys!

As default I only have 2 required field defined as "business required" then by business rules I set some more as required according to some other fields.

The point is that I need that all the "quick create" fields be required, but I can't set business rules for that form or fields. And I can't set as required fields by default because some business rules won't work right.

Is there a workaround here?

    Hi,

    check the quick create forms for the entity and than make fields required over there.

    Quick create and normal creation forms are different in the system.

    Hi,

    I guess business rule apply only for “Main” and “Mobile” form. Entity Business Rule window does not include “Quick Create Form” to apply any business rule.

    But to accomplish you functionality, you can register an on load event to “Quick Create form” to set fields on form as required using Javascript like below

    Xrm.Page.getAttribute("attrname").setRequiredLevel("required");

    Or you can edit the "Quick Create Form" and mark field as required but as you don't want fields as required by default you can achieve this using JS either by using on load/on save event or onchange event of any field.

    Hi,

    I'm not very js friendly well I don't like to "code" for a solution and end with tons of code to maintain but it worked well...

    You can't add JavaScript to an Quick Create form
