Under one instance is it possible development (like field, table) only shows in one company and not the other?

Hi

Let say we have 3 companies under one instance of BC. Each company required their own developments such as fields, codeunit, table,  page, etc. Is it possible that those developments only show up for one company and not others? Like let say we add Field A for Company A in Item Card but that field does not impact company B and C?

    Hi

    custom fields will be displayed for all companies

    you should handle these with a development, but I would advise against it

    Thanks. It means company based development is not possible (or not recommended) and development impact entire instant?

    I know fields and tables are all part of one DB. Just wonder if we can hide/show/limit them to each company. How about codeunit?

    Hi, The following is a simple example, you can add some parameters to control which company this field is displayed in.

    Generally, when doing customization, a setting page will be added. To control whether to use this function in this company, similar to this.
