Safepay & Bank Rec Module

Customer currently uses Payables Mgmt Checks and EFTs in conjunction with Safepay and uploads the file to the bank.  They use the Bank Rec module also and up until now, the only bank trx entry they need to do is increase/decrease adj.  All checks come from payables.  However, they have a 3rd party application that they need to integrate checks directly into bank trx entry and bypass the payables module.  Question - does Safepay work directly with checks that are either integrated or manually entered into Bank Rec and will it create an upload file?

    Nancy,

    Depending on how the customization goes about storing data, SafePay should work as it always has.  SafePay primarily pulls the data sent to banks from the CM20200 table.  Here is a post from Dave Dusek, who has written a number of integrations to SafePay, mainly adding additional fields to the output file - in it he describes in detail how SafePay gathers information:
