'If Any Column Not Zero' not suppressing zeros in NAV Account Schedules Overview

Posted on by 5

Despite selecting 'If Any Column Not Zero' in the 'Show' option in Account Schedules, even if there have never been any postings in an account, it will still appear in the 'Overview' with no values.

Surely there is a way to suppress zero value accounts from the Overview?

Cheers ... Peter

Thanks Zhu for the response, I was hoping there had maybe been an update to fix this, but seems not.

I use 'Export to Excel' which gives a cleaner output than using 'Print', but  it just replicates the 'Overview' format so still includes the zero value lines.

Let's hope this does get fixed at some point as seems a fairly basic setting that should be able to be updated.

    Cheers ... Peter

Hi, as far as I know, this is a historical problem.

In the Overview of Account Schedule, the row will show regardless of whether or not any column has a balance or net change to show.

But, when you set "If Any Column Not Zero" on an Account Schedule, the printed version will not print a row that does not have a non-zero value to display.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
