Changing account owner, without any e-mail notifications

Hi,

I'm about to change account owners, for all accounts. However, when doing this, the new account owner recieves alot of e-mail notifications.
Are there any way to change account owner, without any e-mail notifications at all? None to the account contact persons, and none to the new account owner.

Thanks

I'm assuming that these notifications are sent by a workflow. If so, just disable it during the change and enable it afterwards.

I think so too. But can you be more specific? I mean, any hints on workflow name?

    Hi ,

when you change the owner ..check in the background/real time processes pane you will have your workflow name there.

.. but this will start the mail notifications, and stop it until I find it? Must be easier :)

Go to Settings-->Processes. Filter the grid by primary entity as account. There you should be able to find all workflows related to account entity. Try to find the workflow which sends email on owner change or assign of the record. Deactivate it, change the owners of required records. Once done, reactivate the workflow. If you do not find the workflow, then it could be due to a plugin.

    Hi,

Please try finding an activated workflow with the Primary Entity as Account in the All Processes view under Settings --> Processes.

    Thanks for clearing it out.

I see currently 5 activated workflows for cases. I think if I disable them, change owner, enable workflows again = solution.

Will try this and let you know.

    Thanks again.
