Hi Friends ,

There is an OOB currency field called 'Estimated Amount' on Lead form.

I am unable to find EstimatedAmount_base field ? Is this expected?

If yes , how are we supposed to check what value is being stored in base currency ?

Thanks,

Naveen

    Hi Naveen,

If you go to the Field section of Lead Entity you will see that, also whenever you create a Currency field a corresponding Base field will also get created.

Below figure will make things clearer

I looked at all the fields on Lead entity

sorted them by type so I could see all the currency fields Estimated Amount base currency field

I can then see this field, which I believe is the

    Est. Value (Base)

    estimatedamount_base

Shows the Est. Value field converted to the system's default base currency. The calculation uses the exchange rate specified in the Currencies area.

    Thanks Friends , I got it !

I have one more question : when an exchange rate is updated;Base value is being recalculated, with the updated exchange rate, only when Actual currency value in the UI is updated?

Can we automate this so that whenever exchange rate get updated , base value gets recalculated automatically. What is the best possible solution for this ?

    Many Thanks,

    Naveen
