Dynamics NAV 2018 integration with Dynamics 365 Sales

I am trying and failing to integrate Nav 2018 (on prem) with Dynamics 365 sales. Navision 2018 is updated to the latest version.

I have seen posts and guides refering to a plugin/solution that should be added to CRM but I could not see the name of this particular plugin/solution.

The account used to perform the connection has the system admin and system customiser roles within D365 CRM and it also is a non-interactive account and we have checked with and without a license assigned.

The error recieved is shown below.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Error suggests a networking issue not an application issue at this stage. I’d establish if the NAV server has firewall restrictions on communications it can make

Thank you for your reply Josh. I cannot see any blocked traffic on the firewall logs relating to navision and I can also log into Dynamics 365 Sales from the Navision 2018 server also.

Hi, This appears to be a certificate issue.

There are general methods for investigating certificate issues in the link below.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
