Not able to add a custom entity to the "work place" section or any other section

Hello, I am not able to check any of the options in "areas that display this entity" so I can show the entity in the work place. The options are grayed out, and I am attaching a screen shot to show what I'm seeing.

Is there a way around this without messing with the sitemap? My site map editor is showing me an error message that I can't get around, so hoping for a very simple solution.

Hello Ben,

I'm afraid you will have to do it through SiteMap. What error do you get from SiteMap?

Hi, I made a new post with the sitemap error, so that other people who are having the same error can find the post easier. Can you check that out when you get a chance? It's telling me I have duplicate IDs
