Hi Friends,

[NAV Version: NAV 2018]

When a user tries to compile an object in NAV 2018, the app is getting crash.

    That build is pretty unstable. Issue is already resolved in later CU. 

    It is warmly suggested to deploy latest CU 18. This will resolved this problem AND make the environment far more robust.

    Thank you Duilio Tacconi for your reply.

    It is happening only to that particular user who is our NAV implementation vendor and he connects to our environment. What he said is, he can normally compile an object from Object Designer means, he could able to do. On making some modification in a report and while trying to compile it, that time it is getting crashed. For me it is not getting crashed and compiles smoothly either by compiling after doing modification in the same report he tries to do or selecting an object from Object Designer directly.

    Be sure to install latest .NET framework and deploy latest CU 34. This would solve your issue and make the environment more robust.
