Very Long Receipt

Hi, every time I print a receipt from store ops it prints a very long receipt 60cm long. All the receipt details are there but the spacing between the lines is too much so it takes up a 60cm sheet for one receipt.

Please Help!!!!!!

    Can you upload a copy of the XML receipt file you are using?  there may be empty row tags <Row>""</Row> in several places in the file as well as the <Top>  position of the individual tables

    The template looks perfect in the preview. It just doesnt print the way it appears on screen

    Tell us more about your setup.

    Make and model of the printer

    Using Windows or OPOS drivers for it

    Is this a Customer receipt you or someone else had made, if so, try the out of the box receipt and see if it does the same.

    Hi Jeff, Thanks for your reply. I have an Aures Posligne Odyssey machine. Had software issues and decided to reinstall windows. I believe I have most drivers installed including card swipe and a PS-50 bar code scanner. RMS is up and running.

    The receipt printer I have is a Posligne ODP. I have installed all the drivers for it including OLE EPOS 2.62.

    I have the printer setup through USB so the configurations etc are as such:

    Device Name in printers and faxes: Thermal Receipt Printer

    OLE EPOS Device name: THERMALU

    Driver name: UNIDRV

    Data File: LKNEW4

    Config File: UNIDRVUI

    Driver version: 6.0

    RMS Config:

    OPOS driver: ThermalU  ( windows driver works and prints the receipt ok) (Only spaced out in OPOS setup)

    I dont want windows option because you have to go through printer options to print rather than a direct print from sale/print.

    Receipt format: 40 Column Receipt

    "try the out of the box receipt" How do I do that?

    Hi guys. managed to get it to print right. It only prints on the port 1 configuration and not the usb config. working OK
