Hi,

A purchase order has been created for an item, and in the PO line a job and task number were included. When I try to generate a warehouse receipt document, I receive a notification that there are no Warehouse Receipt Lines Created.

If I removed the job no. and task no. I will be able to create warehouse receipt document in a normal way, the problem happen when job is included.

Has anyone found a solution for that?

    Hi,

I have not used the job/warehouse combination, but it appears that the next major version will improve the job/warehouse linkage.
Support inventory pick and warehouse pick operations for jobs - Dynamics 365 Release Plan | Microsoft Docs

    I hope this helps you.

The new Jobs feature is for inventory/warehouse picks. Does anyone have a resolution for adding jobs to a purchase order that requires warehouse receipts? We need the item to be assigned to the job and the usage trx created. I know I can create the job journal from the planning lines but we need the item to be assigned to the job from the warehouse receipt. Thank you!

Bumping this thread.   Any solution available to allow warehouse receipts for PO with jobs?

    Hi,

I opened a case with Microsoft a while back around this. We created a location that did not require Warehouse Receive or Shipment (the only toggles they had turned on). Then we are able to assign a job to the line. Since they know when the trx is job-related, this was a good solution for them.

It didn't sound like this was a feature to be added in the future so maybe a product suggestion would help elevate the need?

    Thanks
