Hello,

Can I install Dynamics 365 CE V 9.1 Server using Front End Server and Back End Server roles? The MS documentation says This article doesn't apply to the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises), version 9.1 update. For information about new features in update 9.1.

Please advise if Dynamics 365 CE V 9.1 supports Front End Server and Back End Server roles installation? or we must use V9.0 as per my understanding from Microsoft documentation mentioned above.

Hey!

YOur understanding is correct: Dynamics 365 CE v9.1 is documented as a service pack. You should install first the 9.0 version, and then install the ServicePack. V9.0 installation does allow selecting a role.
