Can you set the BU (Business unit) to Accounts?

I would like to set accounts to different BU, I have looked at customization of account but it does not give the BU as an existing attribute. It will be very helpful if I could allocate a BU to accounts? Any ideas?

From the Account entity customization form, select the N:1 relationships, create a new relationship and select the Business Unit as the primary entity.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi,

You can't use the OwningBusinessunit attribute, but in MS CRM 4.0 you can create a new 1:N relationship between the Account and the Business Unit entities, so that one Business Unit can be related to many Accounts. This relation will add a new Lookup field in the Account entity, which you can add to the Account form.

    Hope this helps,
