Ways to extract Main Accounting Book

Morning mates,

I'm trying to extract the Main Accounting Book on SaaS Business Central.

We have the report but the limit are 1 million registers. We hace more movements and we can't "pdf" it.

Is there any other ways to take that information? Like web services or any other ways.

Thank you so much! :)

I have the same question (0)

    Thanks all for your answers

Anyway, I don't know how to create data cubes. I know that we can export data through Excel or PBI or Jet. For that, I need the web service of Main Accounting Book on Navision or Business Central and I can't find it. It's not a table, It's not a page :(

I just want to export a massive Main Accounting Book with over 1 million rows without split it

Any other ideas please? Thanks again you all !!

    Hello,

Adding to what Josh replied... Sounds like you want to run a paper report/pdf and dump the accounting transactions. Based on the fact you over 1 million records you will hit a wall to create the report but look into what just sent as links. I would agree that a data cube might solve all this, with Jet Analytics or Power BI.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Web services could be used in excel with a power query. Volume of data will impact the usage with web services - very slow, plus there are settings on row limits. 20,000 is the usual but I believe this can be configured.

Have you considered scheduling the report you output into pdf but choosing excel instead?

    There is also this: docs.microsoft.com/.../finance-analyze-excel

If your reporting needs a not being met you could look at a 3rd party solution. With large volumes data cubes are a good idea. Jet Analytics is one of the possible choices.

    Hello mate! :)

    I don't want to export a table, it's a report :(

I can't create web services or connect to PBI or something like that. Main Accounting Book seems to be complicated.

Anyway, thanks four you answer ^^
