Goal Rollup - Number of calculated fields in query exceeded maximum limit of 10

Hi,

I have set up a very basic Goal & Goal metric that should calculate a goal based on a custom Money field.  I m following the article below.

crmbook.powerobjects.com/.../goal-management

However, when I click on the "Participating fields" tab under the Goal (i.e. Actual Money),  I get the following:

Error Description:Number of calculated fields in query exceeded maximum limit of 10.
Error Details:Number of calculated fields in query exceeded maximum limit of 10.
Full Stack:[CrmException: Number of calculated fields in query exceeded maximum limit of 10.]

No Goals are updated with the achieved / percentage despite hitting "Recalculate".

Anyone come across this?

G

    Hello glaidler,

Does your Goal Metric (including child goal metrics) have more than 10 rollup fields connected to it?

    From msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn817863.aspx :

Saved queries, charts, and visualizations can have a maximum of 10 unique calculated attributes.

Hi - yes I've seen this, but no, the goal metric only has 1 rollup field.

The rollup is pointing to a calculated currency field, which is in turn adding 2 x simple currency fields.

Not sure if this is still an issue for you - but I have the same thing and I think it is based on the limit of 100 rollup fields per organisation.

Although the one you are looking at is only one roll up - as is ours - the entity we are using has breached the 10 roll ups fields per entity and we are also breaching the 100 roll ups per organisation

Did you ever find a solution? I have the exact same problem.

The field I am trying to use is not even a calculated/rollup field.

But the entity (Opportunity) contains more than 10 rollup fields.
