Hi all!

Does anyone know what is difference between Business Central App version and Browser version in a tablet?

Our client wants to know if Business Central App is different from Browser based. They are going to use SaaS Business Central. There is no explanation about the usability of an app or browser version for a tablet in the below page.

Minimum requirements in using Business Central - Business Central | Microsoft Docs

Let me know if there is a clue or hint of it.

Thank you.

RE: Difference between App and Browser

    Hi,

The Business Central tablet client and Business Central phone client do not replace the Business Central Web client. Instead, they offer a touch interface for a limited set of application scenarios compared to the Business Central Web client.

The Business Central Web client supports more complex business processes and heavier data entry than it is possible on the Business Central tablet client and Business Central phone client. Business Central is also designed for intensive use, and the user can have multiple windows open at the same time, but this is neither possible in Business Central phone client or Business Central tablet client.

    Hi Ramy,

Thank you for the doc link. I will check it.

I should better install Android emulator to check the difference between Web and App clients.

Are there recommended Android emulators, like BlueStacks and NoxPlayer?

    Regards,
