Does anyone know of a report to show picking tickets with both printed and unprinted items?

Every so often we come across a single item not printed on the picking ticket when printing Orders and picking tickets at the batch level. If you reprint the picking ticket the missing item prints on the picking ticket with all other items marked as previously printed. Printing the picket ticket a third time results in all items being marked as previously printed.

This is a strange issue that only comes up occasionally but can cause us some headaches as the person packing the customer order typically proofs the items pulled against the picking ticket prior to shipping the order.

    Hi Haydee,

    I just had this happen again yesterday and after examining the line item sequence number in the tables I suspect the problem is somehow caused when numerous lines are inserted or deleted from the sales order. I haven't been able to replicate the problem yet but I will let you know if I ever get it figured out.

    Hi Haydee,

    The best solution I was able to come up with was creating a custom smartlist using the SOP10200 table to check whether the INDPICKPRNT field had been flagged for orders that are in a batch that should have been printed.

    Have you figured out the solution on this? We are experiencing similar case printing picking ticket in a batch. We are currently using GP2010SP2.

    Thank you for the help. I went ahead and made a Smartlist based on the fields you indicated. It seems to be working and eventually I will probably open a support incident figure out what is causing this.

    Kirk,

    There isn't an existing report for what you need, but it's easy enough to create because the data is stored in the SOP 10200 table in the INDPICKPRNT field. If you use Bulk Picking, you would also look in the BULKPICKPRNT field.
