Reporting on Dimensions in Power BI

Hi:

Through both OData and Business Central tables, I'm trying to pull in dimension values for open purchase orders using Power BI's "Get Data".

I cannot find a table or query holding these dimension values at the line item level.  I have tried several "logical" tables.  But, I'm not having any luck so far.

How can I pull in purchase order line dimension values into Power BI reporting?

Thanks!

John

    Hi,

If you have to get the dimension values from the PO lines for that you need to add dimension fields over the purchase line.so that way you can get those fields into power BI.

    Thanks.

    Hi

In "Web Services" Do you have Page 54 Purchase Order subform published? If yes then you should be able to do the following. If no then add new in Web services and select Page and then 54 to publish it. Then try the following and you should see them,

    Thanks

Hmm......I'm being told that "54" is an invalid page, as shown below.  How do I create this "New" in Web Services?  I have never done that, before.

In Web service Page click New  Then for Object Type select Page. Object ID 54. Define the Service Name. Make sure to not use any "space" in Service Name. then Publish.

If you run to issue with Data Set you can use "Create Copy" then select the new publish page 54 and define a new name.

    Thanks, MahGah!

The page for me is under a difference object number, but I was able to find the data that I needed.

    Thank you, so much!
