Job planning line -Planning date versus planned Delivery date

In Jobs planning lines. What is the difference between planning date and planned delivery date ?

    Both fields validate one another so will always be equal to one another, as standard. Key difference being that the "Planned Delivery Date" relates to stock or inventory items. So it will do a validation on reservation entries and "Promised Delivery Date" which is also on the table, but generally in the background.
