Can no longer type a value into a lookup field and tab out

We are getting ready to flip the switch on the Unified Interface.  One thing I am noticing is that on lookup fields we can no longer just type the value we want and then tab out of the field.  i.e. we have fields that are two digit IDs and would like to be able to simply type the ID and tab out.  Cannot figure out how to do this as it now takes a mouse click or two tabs and an enter to select the value from the list.  Certainly there must still be a way to just type the value in the field and tab out?  Help!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi

This seems to be a design behavior in UCI, If you need this to be confirmed then you can try by creating a service request with Microsoft or you can also post on experience.dynamics.com/.../
