Discount Question~PLEASE HELP!

I am running a special and can't figure out how to have it pull correctly from my inventory & give the right price!

The special is buy one bottle of shoofly shiraz pay full price; buy a bottle of barbard griffen pay full price.,,,

BUT buy both bottles pay $20.oo

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECAITED!!!

    Others can chime as I am no expert, however we have tried to do promos similar to this in the past and have not found a good way to do it. RMS from my understanding does not do this out of the box. I believe you would have to develop an add-on that would trigger when it sees the 2 sku's on the transaction.

    my 2 cents.

    If you have programming experience I encourage it. It took me roughly 30 days to learn vb.net enough to develop an add-on that replaces customer selection and creation.

    I couldn't figure out if it was doing it wrong, there is only 2 products and only a certain price if they get both bottles; would that discount sceme work??

    I would try it

    Create the Mix and Match so that the total is $20 for buying both the products.

    Assign the Mix and Match discount to only the 2 products.

    Test all scenarios before going live with it.

    You are right

    It might not work if they buy 2 of the same product.

    Than they will get discount if they buy 2 of the same. So this may not work
