Import Model tools to PowerShell

Hi Guys,

I am beginner in business central, and i'm trying to install BC on premise so,
I just install BC in virtualbox with windows server 2016 and SQL 2018, and it seems working fine ! because i see the website from localhost and port 8080.
What i'm trying to do now is add LS central, so i follow the docs (Installation Guide LS Central 18.0) included in steup folder, until i arrived to
"The NavAdminTool module has been imported to the PowerShell session." I import the nav admin tool with this command
Import-Module "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central\170\Service\NavAdminTool.ps1"
but when i'm trying to import the nav model tools i can't find it in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central\170\RoleTailored Client"

FYI: this is just for testing and understand how to install LS Central

    Yes, it is adequate.

    Hello,

There is no navadmintool.ps1 in that folder in %programfiles(x86)%. Only navmodeltools.ps1. So yes, it should be sufficient.

    Thanks.

    tanya thank you for reply.

I have already import "NavAdminTool.ps1" , what I'm trying to do now is import the module tool.

are you trying to say that is it enough to just import "NavAdminTool.ps1" ?

    Hello,

This script  which you are trying to import include all the cmdlets used  for administering the Microsoft Dynamics BC deployment, such as adding and configuring Microsoft Dynamics BC server instances, databases, and users.

It is kept under the path - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central\180\Service\NavAdminTool.ps1

Also, in your case as you have to install LS central apps moving forward ,there is a workaround by using Business Central Administration Shell which serves the same purpose as of the script --NavAdminTool.ps1

    Thanks,

    Tanya
