I have a workflow setup to send an email when a new case has been created or resolved. However, looking at the email activity I've noticed that the status reason on the emails stay in the "Sending" phase for a few hours before actually being sent. A few emails are actually sent instantaneously, while most of them take several hours. I also noticed that the "Modified On" field is constantly updating the time every 10-15 minutes as if it times out and is trying to resend the email over and over.
Any idea on what is causing the delay? Or how I can speed up the process?
