Hello,
 
I'm building an income statement and keep receiving an error when trying to put a formula in P0021 to total P0019..P0020.
 
Here is my sample layout:
 
 
Here is the error:
 
 
I have tried a few different ways and always get a circular reference. Any thoughts?

    Could it be because the formula field is empty on the line that gives you the error?
    Tried to fill in a formula?

    there are 2 types of problem here:
    1) Wrong Formula - for example line P00021 has a type of Formula, but formula is empty. Or in the error message it states a formula P0019|P0020\  - the last \ symbol is not needed (or it could be the error message added symbol).
    2) seems You have circular formulas, that goes in endless calculating loop... so recheck that the lines are calculated in order. As there is only partial picture, we cannot help on this :)

    I cleared the formula otherwise I cannot open the report. The \ placed itself there, it was not typed in. I've worked around it by using other fields, but thought it was odd that you couldn't add the two rows above it.
