QBO data migration extension in business central

I have an on-premise version of business central. How do I find the QBO Data Extension so I can migrate open documents to Business Central. It is not under Assisted Setup.

The QuickBooks Data Migration extension is installed and ready to go as the integrated part of the Data Migration assisted setup.

If you are ready to get started now and have exported your data from QuickBooks, choose the search icon, enter Assisted Setup, and then select the related link.

Select the Migrate business data, and then follow the steps of quickbooks cloud migration

It should have never been on the v11 DVD. The migration tool only worked in the SaaS environment and there are checks in the extension for it to only be available in SaaS. It is also only available for certain countries too.

That said, this is the reason you cannot find it. it does only work in the online version of Dynamics 365 BC release and it was a mistake that we also shipped it with the OnPrem release.

Apologies that we shipped the extension with Dynamics NAV 2018.

Hello,

We used to ship this extension as part of Dynamics NAV 2018 product DVD. With Dynamics 365 Business Central releases (v13 and onward), that seems to have stopped. I will ask around here internally if that is an intentional change.
