problems with JS liberias in Ribbon Workbench

Hello experts,

I'm trying to create a workflow from ribbon, I'm following this tutorial.

ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/.../132235-create-a-workflow-short-cut-ribbon-button-no-code

The problem lies in the part where the JS libraries are added, I do not know where to find those libraries since in the search engine I can not find anything.

I am using CRM Dynamics 2016

Any answer would be very helpful.

Thank you very much to all.
regards

    Hi,

The JAvaScript referenced in the article are the internal js so you should already be hacing those in the system. are you facing any issue after following all the stesp? I tried it yesterday on CRM 2011 environment and it worked fine.

Also, do take a look on smart buttons as this would be the easiest approach-

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Camilo,

I would suggest just to copy the same from another button no matter where the those files are stored. Just open any entity in the ribbon go to the button and right click Customize the button and take screenshot of all action, command , enable, display rules and replicate the same in custom entity.

I am agree with Ravi answer now introducing smart button its easy to have custom OOB button in the UI.

What issue you are facing can you provide details, you should use them as it is. But if you are using on premise you can find these files in your CRMWebsite folder .

Don’t use any internal product files, as it is totally unsupported. This may break silently when anything changed by MS & community won’t recommend such unsupported approaches.

    Use Smart buttons. Period.
