You can have a look on this ISV -

Within Business central you can achieve but you might have to use quite a few areas in there to handle what you want to track.

    hi
    ·  Contract Capture & Terms
    • Start/end date, instalment schedule (monthly etc.), interest rate, residual value.
    • Ownership / title changes (if after instalment / once paid off).
    ·  Asset Registration
    • For each leased vehicle, record details (VIN, make/model, registration, depreciation maybe if you capitalise).
    ·  Payment Schedule & Tracking
    • Monthly payments, due dates, late payments, interest component vs principal component.
    ·  Expenses & Operating Costs
    • Maintenance, insurance, fuel, repairs etc.
    • Ability to assign those costs per vehicle / asset.
    ·  Accounting / Reporting
    • For your use case, probably need: what the lease installments are, total cost of lease vs revenue from using/leasing-out the vehicle, profit margins etc.
    • Also compliance (if required in your country): e.g. how to treat lease vs finance lease, depreciation, tax deductions etc.
    ·  Integration
    • Fixed Assets module, General Ledger, perhaps Inventory or Fleet modules.
    • Possibly dimension tracking (so you can tag expenses / income per vehicle).

    Hi,

For a vehicle business renting cars for 1–2 years with monthly installments, you’ll typically need two capabilities:
    1) Contract/Installment billing (create & post monthly invoices reliably), and
    2) Per‑vehicle cost tracking (maintenance, insurance, tires, etc., rolled up to each vehicle).

Below is a shortlist of proven Business Central extensions that map cleanly to this scenario, plus when to pick each.

    1) Automotive‑specific leasing (full contract lifecycle)

DealerBox Leasing – by Intelligent Systems
Best fit if you’re an automotive dealer/importer or want a complete lease contract engine that understands vehicles, payment plans, service packages, insurance/taxes, residual value, early termination, buybacks, and automatic invoice generation from a defined schedule—all integrated with BC sales/service.

When to choose: You want end‑to‑end financial & operating lease management for vehicles (not just recurring invoices) and may also need service/parts integration.

    2) General rental (treat each vehicle as a rentable asset) + recurring billing

    Abakion – Rental Management
Lets you mark vehicles as Rental Items, set start/end dates on the order, handle availability, locations, serial numbers, and post rental invoices (including batch/periodic invoicing). Works on standard BC Sales Orders and logistics, so you can mix rentals and consumables on the same document. Supported in all BC countries.

    3) Simple EMI / Installment plans (no full rental module required)

If the commercial model is: “sell or rent a vehicle and collect fixed monthly EMIs for 12–24 months.

When to choose: You mostly need reliable EMI schedules with minimal process change.

Please mark it "Verified" if it helps.

    Hi

For managing vehicle lease installments and expenses effectively, a comprehensive extension or software solution that supports lease accounting and expense tracking is essential. Such an extension should enable you to record monthly installment payments, recognize interest and depreciation expenses over the lease term, and track all maintenance and operating costs separately. It should also allow budgeting for lease payments, managing VAT implications, and handling residual values if the vehicle is purchased or returned at lease end. Automating these processes ensures accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and streamlined financial reporting for the leased vehicles in your fleet.

Specialized vehicle lease management or fleet management software integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can provide these functionalities. These solutions typically cover lease contract management, installment scheduling, and expenses related to maintenance, fuel, insurance, and repairs in a single system. Choosing one that fits your client's specific lease terms and business needs, with features like automatic payment reminders and detailed reporting capabilities, will simplify operations and help optimize lease-related costs while maintaining clear visibility of the financial impact of leased vehicles in the business.

    Thanks
    Nimsara

Check the app from the Suite Engine in the app source; they have a good app that will handle RPM in BC.
