Multiple search filters on a single search text for article is not working on CRM 2015

Hi,

In 2013 service module there was an option  for applying multiple search  methods on a single search text, that is we can select different search methods, one by one after typing the the search text in the search box.

But in 2015 this is not working, search filter is always on full-text  search option. In 2013 it  used to show a "tick icon" on the left  side of the  search filter but in 2015 it is not displaying the tick ,but the space(a column on the left side of filters) is there .Is this a bug  or some new enhancement?

my main problem is I am not able to  apply different filters one by one to a text without re-entering the same text ?

    Hi Nijos,

    In my trial environment (CRM 2015 Online) it works.

    I can change the option as well, just tick to other filter type

    But after I search that, then I click again the filter option in the right, it didn't give me the tick..

    Just need you to know that it doesn't work after search result (first) comes up.

    But, weird thing here is in the textbox still showing the contextual based on the type I click on it even though no tick.

    Is that what do you mean? by this : 'but the space(a column on the left side of filters) is there'

    I tried using IE and Chrome and also it happened in CRM 2013 at least in my environment.

    Hi Aileen Gusni,

    Thanks for the response, then I think this is just an issue with my CRM environment only.

    In my CRM 2015 environment the "Tick" is not appearing on the left side of the search filter

    this is what  I meant by  " the space is there" and in my 2013  environment it is showing the "Tick". 

    I was Following a CRM tutorial , and it mentioned that after the first search result if change filter and select another filter , and den click search (without re typing the search text) it will display results based on the  new filter. thanks for trying this out  and letting me know that it won't work.
