Hello, is there a way to find out which user created account in GP Dynamics?  I looked at available options in SmartList and only able to pull Create Date and Modify Date but  no user information.

Thank you.

    Hi Lenny,

I am assuming you are talking about customer records. If not please let me know which module you are working with and I will try to help.

Have you checked the RM00101 – Customer Master and RM00102 – Customer Addresses tables? I believe the user that created the record will be in the RM00102 table but this might not be the same as the user that created the initial card in the case of customers with multiple ship to addresses.

    Best regards,

    Kirk

The table physical names and descriptions were copied from the website of Victoria Yudin (victoriayudin.com/.../rm-tables)

Unfortunately GP many masters tables don't have such info for userid.

You can achieve this by using trigger in sql server on customer master table.

    Lenny -

My observation is the same as yours. We are still on GP 2010 and the Accounts table doesn't have the user created date field. The table does have like you stated the modified and created date columns.

It may be possible to add this functionality with a third party solution. FastPath comes to mind.

    Best of luck

    Hi,

While it's not stored in the Account Master, you can turn on Activity Tracking and it will show you who created the accounts. You can't go back into history, but it's a handy tool and you already own it :)

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
