Audit Print functionality.

Hi,

Is any one implemented Audit for out of the box features like printing in CRM online? Is there any way to verify the audit for printing. Ex: I want to verify the users who printed the data in CRM. M Is it possible through out of the box?

    Hi SN,

     CRM audit does not work at that level - all it cares about is, mostly, data modifications:

     msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg309664.aspx

     With a regular ribbon button, you might probably add some sort of javascript to help with auditing.. but, with the print button, I'm not sure there is any workaround at all (especially since the users can also use browser print button.. or they can download a report and print the report.. or they can take a screenshot..)

    No, there is nothing like this out of the box.  Essentially, you would need something on the individual computer to audit things like this, because they could do things like Export to Excel and print from Excel instead, or literally take a screenshot and print the screenshot.

    Neither of which would be captured by In-CRM print auditing.
