Stop Sales Process to Quote, no order needed.

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I am trying to find the best way to stop our Sales Process to Quotes. We don't need the Order entity.

First we create a custom "won" button in the Ribbon to set up the status to won. But it disables the pop up Quote close so we miss some information and also, we cannot close the opportunity in the same time that the quote. So we have many quotes closes and opportunities still open.

So we unabled the "Create Order" button renamed in "Won" but as expected it redirects to the order entity after the quote and we don't need it.

Any idea how we could redirect somewhere else instead ?

Thank you

Valentin

    Hi,

Did you ever get a solution for this?

We are in a similar situation with our client where they do not use orders, but use agreements

On creation order, we do not want the system to redirect to order. Either do not redirect at all or redirect to new created agreeement.

Curious to know how did you solve your issue?

    Thanks

    Huzefa
