Can't find Work Order Characteristic entity deprecation details

I have been looking through the Dynamics Online release notes as well as elsewhere online, but I can't seem to find the announcement and/or deprecation notes for the now apparently deprecated Field Service entity msdyn_workordercharacteristic. Does anyone have any insights into this?

Cant seem to find anything about it either.

Did you want to know why it was deprecated?

Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah I just cant seem to find anything regarding why it was deprecated and what the official alternative is. I have a feeling it has been replaced by Requirement Characteristic, but I am not sure. Anyone else have any insights?

You are exactly right. In legacy FieldOne/Field Service the Characteristics were stored against the Work Order. This changed when Microsoft added the Requirement Characteristic entity which then can be connected to a Work Order or Project and maybe even another entities
